Another new
miniature Amorphophallus (Araceae) species from Laos, the land of dwarf voodoo
lilies

ABSTRACT
From ongoing extensive
field work several dwarf Amorphophallus species have been discovered in
central Laos in recent years: Amorphophallus claudelii,
A. myosuroides, A. ongsakulii
and A. pulchellus. In 2015 another new
dwarf species was discovered which is presented and described here as Amorphophallus
malkmus-husseinii. Differences and similarities
to closely related species are discussed.
