ABSTRACT
A new Cryptocoryne hybrid, Cryptocoryne
× hendrae, from the Meratus mountains, South Kalimantan, Indonesia, is
described and illustrated. Cryptocoryne ×
hendrae is a hybrid between C. hudoroi and C. striolata; it differs from C. hudoroi by shorter and broader leaves and by the dark
purple colours of the spathe limb, collar zone and tube
opening, and it differs from C. striolata by having lanceolate, ± green and bullate leaves.
