Range extension of Syngonium steyermarkii (Araceae–Caladieae)

ABSTRACT

We record Syngonium steyermarkii Croat (Araceae–Caladieae) for the first time in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. It had hitherto been recorded in Mexico only from Chiapas. We note that previous characterisation of the flowering structures of this species may have been based on an abnormality.
