ABSTRACT
A new species of the genus Amorphophallus subg. Metandrium Stapf from Thailand is described based on material from Lopburi Province, Thailand. The new species is very slender in all its major parts and is compared to two morphologically close species. Its key morphological differences with these are described. An observation of an important morphological character of one of the compared species but lacking from its recent (2023) protologue, is added at the end of this paper.
