Revision of Stenospermation (Araceae—Monsteroideae—Anepsiadeae) for Central America

ABSTRACT

A review of all Central American species of Stenospermation is given. The treatment consists of 68 species in Central America with 58 species being published as new, including one new combination: S. adsettiorum Croat, O.Ortiz & J.Harrison, S. bocachirense Croat, S. brakoae Croat, S. brewsterense Croat, S. calvarioense Croat, S. castanoanum Croat, S. cerrofrioense Croat,

The species are fully described, illustrated, and compared with their closest congeners. This work is the first modern revision of the genus published for Mexico and Central America.
