Revision of Anthurium Sect. Xialophyllium
(Schott) Engl. (Araceae)

ABSTRACT
Following recent molecular studies which confirmed its previously observed heterogeneity, Anthurium Sect. Xialophyllium is to be formally divided into three distinct sections: a new, more restricted Xialophyllium section (lectotypified here) and two new sections which will be treated in separate publications. The redefined Xialophyllium section treated here comprises 101 species, of which 63 species are being described as new. All 101 species are fully described. Both a dichotomous and a separate unpublished Lucid Key have been prepared. The Lucid Key to Anthurium Sect. Xialophyllium will be published later online.
